Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare to Enter Beta Today

It’s finally here! After a long wait and a lot of intriguing leaks and reveals these past few months, Activision has finally announced today that the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be available for pre-load starting today. The beta program kicks off tomorrow on PlayStation 4 and will be available to select players.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been one of the most anticipated games this year. There are a lot of interesting things we know so far about this game and we are going to review some of them in this article.

The Campaign Mode

The campaign mode in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be more extensive than ever; that much we know. Activision has displayed a demo – well, several of them, actually – that shows how the gameplay is much improved. There is a more elaborate story to the game and the campaign mode will keep you glued in front of your screen for hours.

The game itself is set in the future. Earth is dying and the United Nations Space Alliance is setting up teams to mine resources for the planet. This is when a group of extremists try to take over some of the UNSA bases and disrupt the whole mining process. As you may have guessed, you’ll be fighting the extremists in close-quarter combat, spaceship dog-fights and other great scenes.

Call of Duty has always been a great game when it comes to warfare experience, so it is only natural to expect Infinite Warfare to be even better. It would be interesting to see what Activision really has in store once the beta is available.

More Anticipation Than Expected

The game has been widely popular indeed. The Activision booth at this year’s E3 was among the most visited throughout the exhibition. The demo we talked about earlier was also displayed at E3 2016 and received rave reviews from some of the best gamers from around the world.

Activision is adding a lot of interesting elements to the game too. The multiplayer mode is now improved, allowing players to set up Combat Rigs for different combat scenarios. You have up to 6 Combat Rigs to personalize. There is also a new Defender Mode, a mode that puts players in a challenge to hold on to an item for the longest time within the round.

The game is so highly anticipated, COD Infinite Warfare hacks are beginning to appear on various sources. These hacks, designed to make the gameplay just as fun for beginners, could make the entire online landscape that much more interesting.

Beta Availability

You can check if you’re eligible for the beta program on Activision’s main website. Those of you who are lucky enough to be in the beta program will be able to test the game in just a few hours. The download size for the game has been reduced to 19 GB as well. All of us at Blog About Games can’t wait to try the new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. What about you?
